Newstead Abbey

Can you imagine a better place to get married than the former home of a romantic poet?

Newstead Abbey's Orangery is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies, and can accommodate up to 100 guests.

Originally the south transept of the Priory Church, the Orangery got its name from the Byron family, who converted the transept into a room for growing citrus fruits, after purchasing the Newstead estate from Henry VIII in 1540. The Orangery's ornate plaster ceiling, crystal chandelier and large windows with beautiful garden views beyond make the Orangery a delightful wedding venue.

Original Vision Photography will gladly give couples getting married at this stunning venue a 20% discount on our Option 4 wedding coverage.
